SC Synod Assembly Briefling

Pastor Megan, Sally Hiatt, Sandy Olson, and Sarah Cheesman attended the SC Synod Assembly. Pastor Megan served as co-chaplain alongside Pastor Ginger Litman-Koon, leading worship and offering prayers throughout the assembly. We elected our new bishop, Pastor Wade Roof of Mt. Tabor in West Columbia. He will begin September 1. The theme was Created to Create. We learned a lot about the church in our state and the many ways God’s people are serving our neighbors.
