Reverend Megan Lineberger came to Bethel in June of 2021. She graduated from Lenoir-Rhyne College in 2008 and Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary with a Master of Divinity in 2017. She enjoys working alongside the people of Bethel to share God’s love with the greater White Rock, Chapin, Ballentine, and Irmo areas. It is a joy for her to serve and learn how God is alive and at work in a community with such rich history and roots. Pastor Megan enjoys family and friends, her dogs, gardening, and sewing.

Julia Richardson Parker is a graduate of Newberry College, UofSC, and Trinity Lutheran Seminary in OH. After serving as the church musician in the SC midlands, then Columbus, OH, and Gettysburg, PA/Emmitsburg, MD, she is grateful for the opportunity to return to South Carolina and especially to Dutch Fork, her ‘heritage home’. She is excited to be serving Bethel congregation in a similar capacity.

Elizabeth "Liz" Szarkowski brings more than 15 years of experience in child and family services to her role at Bethel Lutheran Church. After facing and overcoming cancer, Liz stepped away from her career to focus on her health and support her family. She is grateful for the opportunity to serve the Bethel community as Administrative Assistant, where she enjoys using her gifts to support the church's ministry and mission. Looking ahead, Liz hopes to develop a ministry that offers encouragement, hope, and support to individuals and families navigating the challenges of a cancer diagnosis and survivorship.
