Reformation Sunday

Reformation Sunday will be observed on Sunday, October 25th as a means of celebrating our Lutheran heritage. Lutherans observe Reformation Sunday to remember the historic start of the Protestant Reformation and to reaffirm our core theological roots in the grace and mercy of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Martin Luther sparked the Protestant Reformation on October 31, 1517 by publishing his 95 Theses in Wittenberg, Germany and then nailing them on the door of the Castle Church.

On October 25th, Martin and Katie Luther will share their stories with us after the worship service in the Fellowship Building while everyone enjoys sampling some German foods. Our children will hopefully surprise us with a song about Martin Luther, too. Additionally, plans are to show the movie, Luther, on Sunday mornings October 11 , 18 , and 25 at 9:00 AM in the Fellowship Building. The Nursery and Children's Room will be available for children during this time.
